Day 327: Staggering
Proverbs 23:34
You will stagger like a sailor tossed at sea,
clinging to a swaying mast.
Principle
A double-minded man is unstable — one tossed by the wind and waves of the sea.
Our Advisor warns us against those gazing upon wine; however, I see how a double-minded man is unstable and confused. Someone who hasn’t kept his wits about him is vulnerable and exposed to potential danger.
As men, we have a responsibility to be alert and sober-minded.
In the same way, encourage young men to live wisely. And you must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. – Titus 2:6
We’re living in dangerous times that require us to live wisely. We also need to exemplify integrity and seriousness.
