Day 282: Don’t Fool With Folly

Proverbs 9:13

Folly is an unruly woman;
she is simple and knows nothing.

Principle

There are some women that it’s best to avoid.

The authentic man is gallant toward women. We give special attention and show respect toward all women in an honorable way.

However, there is a certain woman named, Folly, who is simple, boisterous, and morally loose. Some men are attracted to her, but she is an empty vessel of stupidity. You may think that I am the opposite of gallant by being so blunt, but this woman isn’t a lady. She is brazen and boisterous. She has yielded herself to destruction – evil spirits use her to entrap men.

Biblically, she is personified by a Sidonian woman named Jezebel. Jezebel was the wicked wife of Ahab, the King of Israel. Her name means “without cohabitation.” Although she is married, she does not submit to nor honor the covenant with her husband. She is unchaste – immoral.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of women who have accepted the spirit of Jezebel – women who dishonor marriage – women who are loud and defiant.

Solomon’s advice regarding Ms. Folly is to avoid her – stay away from her – don’t get near Madam Whore. You’re not going to gain anything from this kind of woman – she is simple and knows nothing. The time with her is a waste.
