Day 203: Generosity Is A Character Trait
Proverbs 22:9
The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.
Principle
When a man’s character reflects generosity, he is most like his heavenly Father.
The idea of generosity is a natural reflection of the character of what a FivestarMan is all about – we are philanthropic – which means that God has placed a deep purpose within us, reflecting His nature.
Think about it – no one is more generous than our Father. He has given us everything – ALL things were made by Him, and nothing was created except by Him. God, the Father, gave His only begotten Son.
Being generous is natural and spontaneous. We give quickly by the prompting in our gut – a deep river of purpose moves us with compassion.
You may be just developing this expression of being a FivestarMan. As you draw upon it, you will discover the satisfaction and joy that comes from this purpose like none other.
