Day 37: Lazy Bones
Proverbs 6:6
Take a lesson from the ants, you lazy bones. Learn from their ways and become wise!
Principle
God gave man a job before He gave man a woman.
Contrary to popular belief – work is not a curse. In fact, it is the opposite – work is a blessing from God. Work predates the curse of “thorns and thistles.”
God created a system of supply called, The Law of Seed. This law is housed within each and every seed. The seed holds its potential until it is sown into the ground. God gave the seed to mankind so that we could determine our diet. So, this amazing gift of seed gives man the ability to satisfy his cravings. Whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap.
However, God does not do the work for man. It is up to us to arise each and every morning with a plan, then work the plan.
It’s a fantasy to expect a future that you haven’t sown a seed for.
Our Advisor tells us to learn how ants who do not have a governor, a commander, or ruler to make them work – it’s in their DNA to work. They don’t have to think about it. It is their nature.
It’s in the DNA of man to work. God created man in his own image and after His likeness. The Bible is very clear that God works. So, after his likeness, we must work to satisfy our cravings and to fulfill our purpose.
