Day 349: Resurrected Life
Proverbs 15:24
The path of life leads upward for the wise;
they leave the grave behind.
Principle
If you’re going to believe in something or someone — believe in what or whom can get you out of the grave.
The final enemy, the one who has conquered all mankind, the nemesis that defines the limits of all religions, is DEATH. Who can beat death?
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is evidence that He is the Son of God, the Savior of mankind, and the first fruit of the resurrection.
He was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord. – Romans 1:4
Do you know that it is God’s plan for men to experience resurrected life?
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. –Romans 8:11
The same power that raised Christ quickens our mortal bodies, meaning the life that we have now! Solomon suggested that the wise take the path that leads upwards — ascending and leaving the grave behind.
