Day 334: Bloody Nose
Proverbs 30:32
If you’re dumb enough to call attention to yourself by offending people and making rude gestures, don’t be surprised if someone bloodies your nose.
Principle
You become a man when you no longer reason like a child.
There are a lot of guys that can’t navigate life without looking for a fight. They’re constantly calling attention to themselves by offending people. Make no mistake about it—these guys will get their due—someone will be “bigger and badder” and will teach them a lesson.
These guys got their way through their childhood by throwing temper tantrums. Now that they’re older, they continue to use their childish tantrums.
The Apostle Paul tells us that when he was a child, he thought like a child and reasoned like a child, but when he became an adult, he put away childish actions. You become a man when you no longer reason like a child.
