Day 307: The Blessed House

The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.

Your home should be and can be blessed.
I grew up in a tumultuous home —filled with strife and disorder. Even as a child, I knew that I would not have a home with strife when I became an adult.
Very early in our marriage, my wife and I decided to have a home of peace. I remember the day we decided that we would not go to sleep because the house was unkempt or in disorder. After three decades, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we made as a young couple.
We feel incredibly blessed in our home. We have a home of peace.
As a man, you can set the tone of the home. Walking in from a difficult day of work can be a place of refuge and peace. It can be your place of confidence and security.
