Day 306: Wise Friends
Proverbs 2:16
Wise friends will rescue you from the Temptress— that smooth-talking Seductress Who’s faithless to the husband she married years ago and never gave a second thought to her promises before God.

Relationships leave a residue with us — good or bad.
Unfortunately, some married women entered their marriage without commitment to their husbands or the Lord. Her vows were flippant and meaningless. A relationship with her leads straight to hell. Her residue is destruction.
It’s important to have wise friends who can help rescue you when you’re facing temptation from seductive, smooth-talking, faithless women. The benefit of smart friends is protection.
A friend asked me to hold him accountable regarding a recurring temptation in his life. He was struggling. A few weeks later, I finally prevailed after a few attempts to get a hold of him. I asked a couple of questions and realized he wasn’t transparent. He was spinning his answers and diverting from my probe. Finally, I said, “You know, when a friend asks you to hold him accountable but stops talking to you, there’s probably a problem.”
It’s important to have wise friends that aren’t afraid to speak into your life — protecting you from destructive forces.
