Day 25: The Heart of God is to Conceal a Matter

Proverbs 25:2

It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.

Principle

God doesn’t keep secrets from you, it is the heart of God to keeps secrets for you.

Jesus taught this principle, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7) One of the things I like most about God’s character is that He keeps things “close to the vest.” In other words, God is not flippant or trivial when it comes to His plans for us.

The Apostle Paul said, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

God has already prepared plans for you; however, He has concealed the plans – not to hide from you, but to hide for you. So, don’t copycat what you see others doing. Don’t run with something that you’ve heard. Don’t scheme up your own plans. You can’t dream a bigger dream than God has already dreamed for you.

Our advisor tells us, “It’s the king’s privilege to discover them.” Dig deep and discover what God has prepared for you.

God has a plan and you’re going to love it. Share on X
