Day 184: Your Hand is God’s Hand

Proverbs 3:27

Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time” or “Try me tomorrow” when the money’s right there in your pocket.

Principle

When you do good for someone – your hand becomes God’s hand for them.

I’ve had a lot of men say to me, “I want to be used by God.” I really appreciate their sincerity – I believe that they deeply desire to do something significant. They want to do something great.

It’s easy to be used by God – you find a need that someone has and meet it. Your hand is God’s hand to that person. God used you.

You see…for any spirit to accomplish something upon the earth requires a person who yields to that spirit – good or bad. Think about it – even God’s Spirit requires a person – a living, breathing, and active person.

God wanted a man to lead His people out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt – so, He recruited a man – Moses became God’s hand.

Man needed to be redeemed, so God sent His only son, the Word of God became flesh, being found in the appearance as a man, in human likeness, Jesus became God’s hand on the earth.

However, you don’t have to be Moses or Jesus to be used significantly by God. Your significance is found when you do not withhold good from people. You can meet the need of someone today.

Remember:

Never ask God to meet the need of someone if you have the power to meet it. Share on X
