Day 263: Eyes to See-Ears to Hear
Proverbs 20:12
Ears to hear and eyes to see—
both are gifts from the lord.
Principle
There’s more to hearing than sound – there’s more seeing than sight.
‘You have eyes—can’t you see? You have ears—can’t you hear?’ Don’t you remember anything at all? – Matthew 8:18
Someone asked Helen Keller what would be worse than being blind – she replied have sight without vision.
The goal of The Daily Champion is to encourage you. It is to motivate you to continue your quest for authentic manhood. I realize that the daily grind can be challenging – I know that the routine is boring – what we must do is to perceive – to have a revelation of the deep passions within us.
I spoke with a leader yesterday – he is passionate about helping men pursue authentic manhood. Our motivation will be short-lived if we rely on what we can see with our eyes. We need to perceive what is happening deep within men.
